OB-1 Sabers

Earlier we posted that we are in the process of closing the store. We have since been able to procure an agreement with a local toy shop (local to us anyway) to share store and website space so we can still provide amazing sabers to those looking to begin or expand their collection. The move is in progress and more information will be added here to keep everyone informed about the new address.

The OB-1 Sabers contact information will remain the same, we just be including the new store site.

Thank you for understanding as we make this transition to be able to continue our products.

TXQ, LGT, XTech… How to Decide.

We understand. With so many options in one location deciding which to buy can be an intimidating process to those unlearned in saber electronics. Though each manufacturer has their own, standard neopixel core and standard design sets, they each have subtle design differences with replica models as well.

The first aspect to consider is the core style itself. There is an explanation of Core Differences which does provide enough information to help you figure out which best suits what you’re looking for. The next step is to figure out which manufacturer best suits your taste – and budget. And, of course, knowing if you want a replica saber or standard design.

All of the manufacturers listed on this site create excellent replica models. LGT are generally the more expensive models, followed by TXQ then XTech. XTech is newer to the market, less expensive but no less in quality and design. As mentioned, certain replica sabers differ slightly in design and their standard sabers vary completely so it’s just a matter of finding a design that appeals to you. It’s always best to compare each to ensure you get what are looking for and you can always reach out via email if you have any questions. You can also browse the various explanation videos on our YouTube Channel to gain further knowledge about the sabers offered here.

Why OB-1 Sabers?

We have an impressive collection of character replica sabers available and we are aiming to have the most complete collection on the market. Being very particular about the quality of products we want to own personally, having the best quality with affordable options is very important for our customers.

We are continuing to offer the SN, Proffie and limited Xenopixel soundboard options. Not all sabers are currently offered with all options as LGT stock will consist of best sellers and replica sabers. As well, we have begun to include inventory from XTech Sabers, a new and growing manufacturer with an impressive line of new saber designs.

We are expanding with custom, in-house designed 3D printed merchandise and will soon be offering cosplay pieces as they are developed. All items will be completely designed from scratch and we will be offering the printed pieces in the 3D section as they get completed.

Always Wanted to be a Jedi?

If you are as fascinated in the Jedi as I am, you have probably already envisioned yourself in the familiar garb swinging a lightsaber around and using your Force abilities to do great things. Jediism has become a real thing. There are practitioners out there building communities, learning and sharing the knowledge of a new mindset.

I believe there is more to becoming a Jedi than affirming it is a religion. The idea of Jediism being an acknowledged religion may set people off from learning more. Maybe becoming a Jedi on earth is a more spiritual journey that holds more possibilities than we see in the fictional stories.

Join me on this journey as I learn about connecting to the Force and discovering what is possible to becoming the New Jedi in our reality. The Holocron Archives on this site is an ongoing blog to learn, to discover and to pass on what we have learned.
