When am I going to get it?

Regular shipping times for Canada Post are generally 2 – 5 business days for items we have in stock. For items not in stock, expect 2 – 3 weeks as stock must be ordered based on a minimum order quantity from the supplier. OB-1 Sabers is dedicated to providing the best service possible and will always be looking into better and faster delivery times that do not drastically enhance the cost of the purchase. As of 2023, Canada Post shipping times are varied due to extreme weather conditions. They are not able guarantee delivery dates but we will update every customer with information as we get it.

Does the blade come with my saber?

Yes. The only time you do not get a blade with a saber order is when you order an empty hilt. Otherwise, the saber comes with the blade, instructions and set screws with an allan key with the electronics core you choose. Some kits may include a grip wrap and one or two thumb screws, but not always.

Are these combat ready?

Absolutely! The hilts are aircraft aluminum and the blades are polycarbonate tubing and can take a hit which works well with the flash on clash function. As with anything, if hit too hard the blades will kink so Jedi discipline is required.

How do I change the colour and sound?

All sabers will come with instructions to explain how to use the functions. RGB electronics cores are set up differently and have less options than the Xenopixel or Proffie cores and are not difficult to learn. Most sabers have only a single button operation and all functions work through that. The Xenopixel sabers have more functionality and options and we have put together a pdf instruction manual available here, as well as an instructional page on configuring sound fonts here.

Can I swap parts out with other sabers?

Yes, you can swap any of the 3 – 4 segments of any saber with any other saber manufactured by LGT Saber Studio. They will not interchange with companies like Ultrasabers, SaberForge or Electrum Sabers as their designs are proprietary.

What if my saber doesn’t work?

All sabers are tested before they are shipped to ensure quality but they are electronic items and things go wrong. We understand that and will troubleshoot the problem with you to find a fix or replace the bad component providing the reason for malfunction is not due to misuse. Sometimes the problem is as simple as pulling the battery out or slightly bending a battery connector to tightening a set screw. I ordered the same electronics core but the sounds are different.

This happens with different generations or versions of the sound board. You my find different presets, different functions and different light effects. The great part with most boards is the ability to program your own sounds and colours to make your saber truly unique and yours.
